ORIGINAL STORY FOR VERTICAL FORMATS

Vertical isn’t a smaller screen.
It’s a different grammar.

Conjure Originals designs and produces original story for vertical formats — scripts, series bibles, production packages, and adaptations built for the 90-second episode from the first beat.

Most vertical scripts are horizontal scripts, cut up.

You can feel it. The hook lands forty seconds late. The reversal sits in the middle of an episode instead of at the edge of it. The dialogue was written for a two-shot the format won’t give you.

Vertical has its own rules: one face, one frame, one turn per episode, and a cliff every ninety seconds. We write to those rules because we don’t write anything else.

What we make

Originals

A catalogue of owned, production-ready series. Script, bible, character breakdowns, licence. Small casts, contained locations, budgeted to shoot.

Custom & Adaptation

Bring us your IP — a backlist novel, a webtoon, a finished feature, a format you already own — and we’ll rebuild it as a vertical series that holds.

Language & Cultural Translation

Not subtitles. A remake at the script level: names, class markers, family structures, the specific shape of the insult.

Optioned

Built for the way this business actually moves

Production-ready, not pitch-ready

Every Original ships with cast size, location count, and an episode arc your line producer can budget from. No development limbo.

Format-native writing

60, 80, 100, 120 episodes. Hooks at :00 and cliffs at :90. Written to the beat map, not retrofitted to it.

Rights that are clean and clear

Owned outright, status shown on every title card, exclusive and non-exclusive both on the table.

Culture, not just language

Localization that survives contact with the audience it’s aimed at.

Whether that’s a finished series you can put into production next month, or an adaptation of something you already own.
